In 1888 Bertha Benz drove 106 kilometers with her husband's car, which was the longest distance driven at the time. Her feat established the car as a viable means of transportation creating the world as we know today. In tribute to her and those who dream further, we drove the same route crossing Germany using a radio-controlled car, one pack of standard household batteries and one single charge.
This attempt brought us the official Guinness World Record of Greatest distance by a battery powered RC model car on a single charge. Agency: GREY Germany.
